Toro Unveils New All-Electric GreensPro® and New Workman® Vehicle at BTME
Driven by customer insight. Designed for performance.
Toro is excited to announce the launch of two new innovative products at BTME 2026: the all-electric GreensPro® e1700 and the next-generation of the light-duty utility vehicle, the Workman® LTX. These latest additions represent the next evolution in turf care and utility solutions, combining advanced technology, operator-focused design, and the reliability Toro is known for. Both products will also be showcased at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in the United States this February, giving maintenance professionals on both sides of the Atlantic the chance to experience Toro’s latest advancements first-hand.
GreensPro e1700: Redefined productivity, elevated performance, all-electric power
The GreensPro e1700 expands Toro’s GreensPro lineup, marking Toro’s entry into the utility greens roller market, delivering a new level of productivity for demanding daily use. The fully electric e1700 offers a wider rolling swath for enhanced productivity and increased machine weight to deliver greater rolling pressure, ensuring consistent, high-quality results with every pass. The all-new point-and-go joystick redefines control systems by delivering intuitive, precise operation. The smart hitch transportation system enables efficient and safe transport between greens, and the expandable battery system gives customers added flexibility to increase range for more demanding jobs.
“The GreensPro e1700 is designed around three core principles focused on productivity, efficiency, and consistency,” said Nate Fisher, product marketing associate at Toro. “For nearly two decades, the greens roller market has seen little innovation, while the same operational challenges have persisted. Those realities shaped our approach to the e1700, guiding the development of a utility greens roller and its feature set, built around a new way of thinking about daily rolling and delivering reliable, repeatable results.”
Workman LTX: What customers asked for, delivered.
The Workman LTX ushers in a new era for Toro’s light-duty utility vehicles, building upon the long-standing GTX series. The LTX offers a comprehensive lineup, with options that include a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard EFI petrol engine and more lithium power configurations. Every detail has been considered, from the comfortable bolstered bench seat, electric parking brake on lithium models, redesigned dashboard with plenty of storage and USB A&C ports, and the engine protection features that help keep the vehicle running smoothly. The LTX is built to deliver the reliability, versatility, and comfort that Toro customers have come to expect, with thoughtful updates that make everyday tasks easier.
Marissa Garin, product marketing manager at Toro, commented: “The Workman GTX has been a cornerstone of the lineup since 2016, but the LTX takes things to a new level. This is an important advancement in the Workman Series, introducing a broader range of options and setting a new benchmark for durability, comfort, and productivity. Every element of the LTX reflects a purpose-driven design focused on meeting the practical demands of our customers.”
