Toro Ag Celebrates Grand Opening of Ag Training Center

The new training and meeting space gives Ag business the ability to host dealers and farmers

Mar 21, 2019  |   Agriculture

RIVERSIDE, CA. – Toro Ag is pleased to announce the completion of a brand new Ag Training Center.

The Ag business hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new ag area on Friday, March 15, 2019.  Included in the grand opening ceremony was a cross-functional, intra-divisional ribbon cutting done by Neville Mody, Managing Director, Ag Americas, and John McPhee, General Manager, Irrigation & Lighting.

Construction was precipitated by the Ag group’s need for a dedicated space that showcased the breadth of The Toro Company’s position within the agricultural market, but that could also serve as an educational and collaborative meeting space to host key dealers and growers.  The resulting Ag Training Center accomplishes both objectives. The Ag business intends to use the new space as a training and meeting area to strengthen dealer relationships and build long-term brand loyalty among growers throughout the Americas.

“We are extremely proud to introduce the Ag Training Center to the rest of the Toro business, and to our loyal dealers and growers who will benefit greatly from this new ag-centric meeting and training space,” says Ralf San Jose, Director, Ag Americas.  “The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the launch of a new phase, not just for Toro Ag, but for the larger Toro water businesses.  The Training Center is a strategic investment to help dealers and farmers grow more using our innovative solutions, service and support.”

The training and meeting space was completed in less than 6 months and reflects efforts to better support the Toro dealer network.  The Training Center is situated within Toro’s Riverside facility, a strategic choice meant to highlight the full breadth and weight of Toro’s combined water businesses.
