BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Toro announces the launch of a new TimeCutter® zero turn mower with a 60” cutting deck. The model focuses on increasing productivity with a highly durable, yet comfortable mower.

The new 60” TimeCutter offers a combination of commercial features that make it a highly durable zero turn mower. These features include a commercial-style fabricated deck made out of 10-gauge steel, blade tip speeds over 18,000 feet per minute (fpm) for a professional quality of cut, reinforced deck gauge wheels and leading edge of the deck, a heavy-duty 2.5” x 2.5” full tubular front axle, commercial-grade 3/8” thick heavy-duty caster forks and commercial-style rear tires.

In addition to being a rugged and durable machine, the new 60” TimeCutter also provides a high level of comfort through the integration of various ergonomic features. The step-through front design allows for easy access to the operator station, while the deck lift pedal and assist springs allow the operator to easily lift and lower the cutting deck. Rubber floor mats for minimizing vibration and a deluxe seat come standard. The new model also features an automatic parking brake.

“The new 60” TimeCutter is truly an ideal blend of durability, comfort and performance,” said Tanner Erickson, Toro marketing manager. “As the leader in turf maintenance equipment and having been in business for more than a century, we have access to remarkable commercial technology that we can now offer to homeowners, acreage owners and hobby farmers. This ultimately provides these customers with an improved mowing experience with that professional quality of cut we are famous for at a budget-friendly price point.”

In addition to being durable and comfortable, the 60” TimeCutter also boasts versatility through the integration of some key features. These features include an engine guard that has built-in bucket holders for easy access to tools and materials, a standard hitch for towing a variety of pull-behind yard care attachments, and the innovative Toro Smart Speed™ control system for optimum performance and for towing attachments.
