BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Toro announces the expansion of its Recycler® with SmartStow® product line by introducing two new models to the product family — the innovative PoweReverse™ and a new push model slated to launch in 2018.

The new PoweReverse Personal Pace® model allows operators to easily mow challenging areas with less effort by assisting both forward and backward operation. This feature is especially useful in tight areas and under or around obstacles on the property. Also being added to the SmartStow product family for 2018 is a new Toro push mower, scheduled to launch in the spring of 2018.

These two new models are in addition to the popular existing models in the SmartStow family — the variable speed front-wheel drive model (20399) and the Personal Pace rear-wheel drive model (20340). These two models are both powered by a Briggs & Stratton® EXi 163cc engine and feature a quick stow, one-piece adjustable height handle and 11-inch rear high wheels.

“When we talk about the new models in the SmartStow family, it’s really all about more options for homeowner preferences,” said Wade Tollison, senior marketing manager at Toro. “The SmartStow product line has been very successful since it was first introduced, and we are building on our success by expanding the line to offer both a base push model, as well as a feature-rich solution for the customer.”

Thanks to the Briggs & Stratton engine, Toro SmartStow mowers are able to be stored upright with no gas or oil leaks, reducing the storage area by up to 70%*. The SmartStow feature also allows for easy accessibility to clean under the deck and service the blade. The patented engine design includes vents, oil seals and gaskets, as well as a unique fuel tank design that helps prevent oil and gas from leaking out when the mower is stored upright.

Toro Recycler with SmartStow models are available from Toro’s trusted network of dealers and The Home Depot. For more information on the Toro SmartStow line, please visit the website.

* Space savings are in relation to the space consumed by a Toro 22" walk behind lawn mower that is stored with the handle in the standard operating position.
