Toro® Launches New Home Lawncare Equipment at GIE+EXPO 2021

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Toro has redesigned its 21” Super Recycler® line from the ground up. The five new SKUs (21565, 21564, 21563, 21566, 21566T) include both gas and battery-powered options with Toro’s Flex-Force Power System®, the most powerful battery in its class that can tackle any job on just one charge. All five models have been overhauled to introduce core innovations and technologies into the lineup, and take commercial-grade elements to the next level. Toro is also excited to introduce homeowners to its new Attachment Capable 60V Power Head, also powered by Toro’s Flex-Force Power System. The Flex-Force system provides maximum runtime and power to the entire suite of more than 35 Toro 60V products thanks to cutting-edge lithium-ion battery and RunSmart® technology.

New Super Recyclers

The redesigned Super Recyclers feature commercial-grade construction throughout, starting with a cast aluminum deck for years of dependability. All four wheels feature sealed ball bearings to reduce friction and extend the life of the mower. The new platform comes with an improved, taller aerodynamic tunnel — a feature inspired by Toro’s commercial line, that offers better grass clipping management.

Customers will also notice the new enhanced steering wheel design with Toro’s Personal Pace® Auto-Drive feature. Users will have multiple options for hand placement increasing comfort while mowing. The new curved design delivers an effortless experience as the operators natural forward walking pace engages the adapting drive system. The mower travels at the user’s personal walking pace through Toro’s proven auto drive transmission.  

Vortex™ technology on all the new units supercharges the mowing experience, allowing for greater under deck air flow to finely chop grass clippings with the dual-blade accelerators and under-deck wedges, plus pulls grass up to deliver an even cut. Not to mention, the ultra-fine grass clippings become Lawn Vitamins™ – delivering nutrients back into the lawn to achieve a fuller, greener, luscious lawn. Finally, Traction High Wheels now come standard with a new wide-tread pattern that delivers enough traction to get up hills without tearing up grass all while easily maneuvering across uneven terrain.

New Attachment Capable Power Head

Take on all your lawncare projects with the new Toro Attachment Capable 60V Power Head, powered by the Flex-Force Power System. Simply combine the Power Head with one of five attachments — string trimmer, cultivator, stick edger, pole saw or pole hedge trimmer — and make quick work of any lawn care job.

The versatile Power Head allows you to easily swap out tool attachments to tackle the project at hand, and saves space and money in the process. Powered by Toro’s durable, interchangeable Flex-Force Power System, the new Attachment Capable 60V Power Head is a one-stop yard shop.

Customers can check out the new Power Head along with the three Super Recycler 21” gas models (21565, 21564, 21563) and Super Recycler 21” battery-powered units (21566, 21566T) in stores this fall.
