BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Working closely with industry experts for several years, Toro has developed a dedicated, versatile, and efficient infield groomer that equips grounds crews with the capabilities needed to create and maintain impressively consistent, high-quality ball diamonds. The result is the Field Pro 6040, an innovative design that builds upon Toro’s popular GrandStand® stand-on platform, as well as five decades of experience with the Sand Pro® infield groomer.

“Toro’s extensive experience with infield grooming products is evident in the innovative functionality and productivity of the Field Pro 6040. We achieved our goal of delivering a high performing and extremely efficient infield groomer,” says Sam Dando, Toro Global Product Marketing Manager. “The Field Pro 6040 allows sports field crews to maintain precise infield surface conditions — something historically difficult to accomplish. Increased consistency of the playing surface also helps improve the safety of young athletes, which is truly invaluable.”

The Field Pro 6040 gets the job done quickly and efficiently. It can break up a compacted playing surface, grade to precision, and give the field a final playable surface — all in one pass. An operator can set the desired tool depth and angle with the mid-mount tool carrier. Next, the integrated box blade with adjustable stop allows for precise, simultaneous grading. Finally, the rear mount can be fitted with a broom, drag, or steel mat for a clean, game-ready finish.

The rear Quick Attach System (QAS) makes switching between attachments a simple task. Most Sand Pro attachments, Bullseye™ synthetic attachments, and other third-party attachments are compatible with the mid mount, rear QAS, and included adapter.

Due to its commercial grade power, weight, and rigid structure, the Field Pro 6040 is both quick and efficient. Multiple passes are no longer necessary to achieve a high-quality result. One pass delivers a safe, flat, rut-free playing surface — saving you time and minimizing wear — prolonging the life of your investment.
