Toro to Partner with Treetoscope for North America Market

Toro’s Ag Business to offer unique direct plant sensing technology developed by Treetoscope

EL CAJON, Calif. – The Toro Company and Treetoscope Ltd. have announced a strategic partnership to provide an innovative, direct plant sensing technology to support irrigation management decisions. With this collaboration, Toro will bring this unique solution to growers across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The partnership adds to Toro’s growing range of crop monitoring, decision support, and automation solutions, meeting an increasing need for reliable and actionable information on crop water usage and plant health.

The primary advantages of the solution include:

Customers will also benefit from the integration of the Treetoscope solution into Toro’s Tempus Ag automation system, which offers simple, easy-to-use irrigation management and control. By incorporating the features of the Treetoscope solution within the Tempus Ag platform, Toro will offer growers a seamless transition between decision, plan, and action.

The technology will be available for a selection of permanent crops such as almonds, walnuts, pistachios, wine grapes, table grapes, apples, pears, and citrus, with additional crops added as validation trials are completed.
